1. Mom. I've done it before, but even if life were eternal, it could never, ever, ever be enough.
2. Dad. Ditto
3. Brother. Ditto again. (or reditto for at least one person out there. It makes me laugh out loud every time I hear or see the word "again". Thank you for that!)
4. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Even if I could not hold a conversation with him, it would be very cool to sit there and read his mind while he is composing. mad genius!
5. The One Who Invented Toilet Paper. Imagine how excited he/she must have been to discover that you don't need to sit on a water fountain to clean yourself.
6. Thomas Jefferson. My political hero (his writing, not his personal life, in case you were wondering). Preferably this drink would take place out in a frontier town, not at his home in Virginia.
7. George Washington. They wanted to make him King! What politician today, or any day, would turn that down?
8. Nicolo Macchiavelli. What was he thinking?
9. Elvis Presley, before he became a star.
10. A random shopkeeper in the 19th century. What was life like without cars?
11. Jesus Christ. What would he really do?
12. Hester Prynne.
13. Any woman who has lived in an era or society not defined by men. More on that another time.
14. J.R.R. Tolkien. Wow! To bring mythology together into a single detailed fantasy world. He defined an entire genre of literature. Amazing!
15. J.K. Rowling. How many among us played through many of the exact same scenarios when we were children? Why are we not millionaires?
16. You
