This is my very first blog post! I am not a member of the facebook/myspace generation, so it feels quite strange putting my words out in cyber space. So patience, please, as I figure out how to navigate around in here. You will hopefully find that I am an acceptably entertaining writer with a slightly tilted view of the world. I hope that my friends and family will be able to keep up with me a little better, and understand the ridiculousness that defines me. And maybe you will, too!
A little about me: I am from detroit, via Grand Rapids, via Chicago, via Grand Rapids, via Ann Arbor, via Chicago, via Muskegon, MI. I have been an eastsider, a westsider, a northsider. I am a redneck, an urban philosopher, a suburbanite, and a college kid. I am from places called Wolf Lake, Hoffman Estates, Novi, Heritage Hill, Allendale, Albany Park, Wrigleyville, Sterling Heights, Bursley, and Warren. I am strictly midwest.
Since my passions fuel my creative drive, you will see an ocean of posts about things like music, writing, art, travel, odd bits of knowledge, my family, my dreams, and enough politics to make me want to change my mind.
Although women are probably my single greatest passion, I sincerely hope to spare you from having to view such a horrific trainwreck. Most of what I could say has been spoken, written, and spit a million times before.
