Sound idea, really, foam toilet seats. They are soft. They are cushy. They do not freeze your butt cheeks like regular old seats. Unfortunately, I now see why women complain about men designing cars that are just not practical. Because, lady toilet seat designer, foam seats fall down if you are not sitting on them! All the time. The consequences are one of the following: Either 1) he forgets about the falling down part and the seat crashes mid-stream, or 2) he has to straddle the toilet to hold the seat up with his knee. Not saying this has happened to me........not saying it hasn't.

I am more and more satisfied with my playlist each and every day. Love it. There are maybe six or seven songs I would like to change, and adding more is a challenge, though I put a few on tonight. "Dry Your Eyes" by the Streets is definitely one to go. I like the band, but I need to find something better. I don't get "Dry your Eyes." Was this their attempt at a ballad? Really? Was this their foray into American mainstream? Don't believe the hype, guys. It just ain't worth it.................. Unfortunately, filling out the rest of the playlist is a challenge. I'd love to throw some AOR late seventies/early eighties rock on there. Good hip hop. There's even been some decent pop over the years. I just heard "It takes 2" the other day. Remember?! It takes two to make a thing go ri-ight. It takes two to make it outta sight. Who can't love that beat? I'd love to put some Boston on there. Cheap Trick, Little River Band, Asia, Kansas, the Kings. Hmmmmmm......... I guess I'll always have another playlist in me. Hell, what more is there to life? Anyway, I hope you enjoy the latest add-ons. Pretty recent material, mostly. I'm in Chicago for a few days, and their radio stations have largely different playlists than Detroit. Since they are owned by the same companies, they serve up the same run of top "hits" but the older tracks they dust off can vary significantly. It's great. Each time I hear an old song, it reminds me of ten more.
So yeah, I'm in the Windy City. In three days of visits to family and friends, I've scored: 6 or 7 hundred new mp3s, 2 boxes of chocolate covered macadamia nuts, two little bags of kona coffee, and a copy of b-movie sci fi classic Starcrash. Awesome. And really, it was my first experience with old time sci fi/horror mega

Anyway, I

have a copy
I'm bringing home, and I'm looking forward to enjoying this fine piece of art again.
Janus (of the playlist) just came on. Love it.
I also discovered this weekend that I hope to raise my child in the same manner as my fine cousin and host.......... reverse psychology. I am hoping to be weird enough that when the kid rebels, he will have no choice but to scream, "SCREW YOU, DAD, I'M GONNA DO MY HOMEWORK AND GO STRAIGHT TO BED!" Ok, son. lol
As you are ALL anticipating, I'm sure, tomorrow is the start of my epic eight week weight-loss odyssey. I know what your thinking. Hmmmm....... chocolate covered macadamia nuts....a six hour trip back to Detroit..... not a good way to start. Those babies are going straight to the trunk, and then to a wayward shelf where they will collect dust until April.
Ahhhh, here comes Weezer.............hip hip.............hip hip...............when you're on a holiday.......you can't find the words to say........Goodnight!
